Strike a Chord ignites the dynamic interplay between Flamenco guitar and dance, uniting virtuosic guitarist Marco Van Doornum with the trailblazing Flamenco ensemble “Las Flamenkas” a collective of culturally diverse dancers aged 17–30+ under the choreography of critically acclaimed artist Pepa Molina.

This bold new work explores the creative tension between tradition and innovation through an exchange of rhythm, movement, and emotion. Strike a Chord investigates the evolving language of contemporary Flamenco, expanding itsexpressive boundaries while honouring its deep cultural roots.

Blending authenticity with experimentation, the work offers audiences an intimate yet electrifying experience where the pulse of the guitar meets the power of the body, and where cultural identity, artistry, and collaboration strike a resonant chord.
