Internationally renowned and Adelaide based company, Australian Dance Theatre invites dancers in our local community to join the company for a workshop exploring ADT’s explosive work Marrow. Facilitated by the company’s performing artists, the workshop will guide participants through a series of movement activities introducing the themes of the work and the company’s approach to creative process.
What to expect: The workshops are designed for all levels of dance experience and are taught in an open and supportive environment. The sessions provide an opportunity for youth audiences and community to connect with company and through the activities explore new movement ideas and skills.
What to wear: Comfortable dance wear e.g. trackpants and t-shirt, shorts and t-shirt. You can choose to dance barefoot or in socks.
What to bring: Please bring a drink bottle
Open to dancers aged 15+ of all abilities and experience levels, the workshop offers a chance to explore ADT’s unique choreographic style - perfect for emerging and independent artists in the region.
